Money spent on the purchase and lease of art by agencies under the Minister's jurisdiction is as follows:
Department of Corrective Services
(a) -(c) Nil.
(d)- (e) Not applicable.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services
(a) $331,651. This was included in the capital cost of the construction of the Emergency Services Complex in line with the Government's 'Percent for Art Scheme' which requires projects above $2 million to set aside up to 1% of the construction budget for public art.
(b) -(c) Nil.
(d) Artworks for the Emergency Services Complex by artists are Mark Datodi and Steve Tepper are:
o East and West Facing Walls - Artworks: Earth, Fire, Water and Air;
o Courtyard Wall - Artwork: Cast concrete wall;
o Courtyard Screens - Artwork: Laser cut design into metal screens and perforated sheeting; and
o Entry Foyer of Building - Artwork: Suspended triangular shapes
(e) Not applicable.
Fire and Emergency Services Superannuation Fund
