Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(1) Following an assessment of work-related requirements against the individual's relevant knowledge and skills, there was no identified need to advertise at the time of the initial secondment. An expression of interest was subsequently advertised, providing such an opportunity.
(2) Yes
(3) An expression of interest was advertised internally within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet on 23 January 2008 for a period of 4 months, with a possible extension.
(4-5)Yes
(6) Ms Kural is currently acting as Principal Policy Officer, Water Policy, Cabinet and Policy Division, Department of the Premier and Cabinet until 30 April 2008, on secondment from the Department of Water.
