(a) Up to 30% of the 300 new properties, being roughly 90 properties, will be delivered in regional WA. The specific number of houses built in each region will be confirmed in coming months. (b) It is anticipated that the value of the properties delivered in regional WA will be up to $50 million. Specific values for each region are unable to be provided until sites are confirmed. (c) Nil. The McGowan Government is injecting funding of $125 million to deliver 300 new public housing units, targeting homeless and vulnerable people on the priority waitlist. (d) Not applicable. (e) As the locations of the new properties are not yet confirmed, the potential number of properties for demolition is currently unknown. Any properties that are flagged for demolition will exclusively be properties that have reached the ends of their useful lives.
