I refer to the Government’s refurbishment of and capital works to the residential flats known as Brownlie Towers, Bentley. (1) Will the minister advise of the status of these works? (2) Is the minister aware of the extent of the use of asbestos in the construction of this building? (3) Are the residents aware of the extent of asbestos in the building; and, if so, how and when were they informed? (4) Is it intended to remove this asbestos while residents are in occupation; and, if not, what alternative accommodation has been arranged? (5) When were the current residents advised of their need to vacate the building while the removal of asbestos is carried out?
