I refer to the Government’s longstanding commitment to replace the ageing Broome Regional Prison, and I ask: (a) Has a final site been identified for the new prison: (i) If so, where, and when was this decision made; and (ii) If no site has been identified, what sites have been considered to date and what are the reasons for delay in site selection; and (b) How much has been spent on planning for a new Broome Regional Prison since the $1.4 million planning allocation in the 2019–20 Budget, and what were the outputs of that expenditure?
