I refer to page 416 of Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2, the line-item for "Equal Opportunity Commission Services" under "Service Summary expenses", and to the Government’s commitment to reform the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 , and I ask: (a) what funding has been allocated in the 2025-26 Budget and forward estimates to progress reforms to the Act; (b) what is the anticipated timeline for the introduction of an amendment bill to implement reforms; and (c) what specific reforms will be included?

a) The Department of Justice is progressing the reforms to the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA) utilising existing resources. Funding specific to the implementation of the equal opportunity reforms will be determined once the Equal Opportunity Bill is finalised.
