That
is precisely what we are doing. We work closely with all planning stakeholders
to ensure the appropriate design of communities right across the
metropolitan area. Our infrastructure fund is about providing support to
developers to ensure that headworks are not prohibitively expensive so that we
can develop these interesting, sustainable communities. Once again, I can point
to an area such as Cannington, which has a great diversity of medium and
high-density housing around retail and transport nodes, making sustainable,
vibrant communities. That is what we are trying to do. I am very familiar with
the parts of the Cottesloe electorate that the member spoke about because my
parents live there. It is a great community with a diversity of low, medium and
high-density housing, and that is the way it should be.

question time.
