(2) 61.86 FTE, covering DCA and cross related Government functions for Culture and the Arts. (This includes finance, human resources, business management, internal audit, capital works, facilities management, information services and management, corporate affairs and executive support)
(3) There has never been a
whole
corporate services centralised provision across the Portfolio. It should be noted that in 1998 transactional shared services functions for finance and human resources
only
were pooled together from the Department itself as well as portfolio agencies, amounting to 28.3 FTEs of which most have now been transferred into the Department of Treasury and Finance Shared Services. Other corporate services are either carried out within individual agencies or the subject of specific collaborations (eg, Information Services and reception services where there is co-location ).
(4) Enquiries regarding Lotterywest funding directly to the Arts will need to be directed to Lotterywest.
(5) Of the total 2009-2010 Portfolio Recurrent Budget, the Department's operating budget was 13per cent and as a separate allocation $27.7million (26.6per cent) was distributed to arts organisations and programs.
