(1) Yes. Leadership WA requested $1,064,890 (ex GST) from the Regional Development Councils 2011 Action Agenda fund for Regional Leadership programmes in the Pilbara and Mid-West regions.
(a) No
(b) The Funding Scheme was highly contestable, with a total of 240 applications for funding being received, with over $900,000,000 being sought in total. Leadership WA's application was not supported as a strategic regional priority at that time
(2) Yes
(3) The $2.3 million Royalties for Regions Governance and Leadership Development Program will support leadership training and support Aboriginal leaders and communities across the Pilbara and Kimberley.
