SOUTHERN PORTS AUTHORITY —
MINISTERIAL DIRECTION
418. Hon PETER COLLIER to
the Minister for Ports:
My question without notice of which
some notice has been given is to the minister representing the Minister for
Ports. I refer to question without notice 863 asked on 20 September 2018;
question without notice 1193 asked on Thursday, 22 November 2018; and question
without notice 1239 asked on 28 November 2018.
(1) Has the minister now received
all advice from the State Solicitor's Office?
(2) If yes to
(1), will the minister now tabled the contract between Cliffs Asia Pacific Iron
Ore and the Southern Ports Authority, the operating agreement and the lease
agreements for shed 2 and shed 4, and the office building; and, if not, why
not?
(3) If no to (1), when does the
minister expect to receive the legal advice?

I
need to advise the Leader of the Opposition that we have had a change in
portfolios and I am now the Minister for Ports, not representing the
Minister for Ports.
Hon Michael Mischin :
Congratulations.
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN : Thank you.
(1)–(3)
I am advised that the State Solicitor's Office advice was received and
that this matter was being considered by the previous Minister for Ports when
there was a change in the portfolio allocations. I have not yet reviewed that
advice from the State Solicitor, but I undertake to do that and to make a decision
on the release of the documents within the next week.
