(2) Not applicable. (3) The State Planning Strategy provides a plan for the South West Region. Significant planning work, that has flowed from the State Planning Strategy or has been initiated to manage growth, has been completed for the Leeuwin-Naturaliste, Bunbury-Wellington and Warren-Blackwood areas. In the case of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste area, this government has strengthened the plan for the area by making it a Statement of Planning Policy under planning legislation. Also, planning is nearing completion to convert the greater Bunbury component of the Bunbury-Wellington Regional Plan to a statutory region scheme. Information on the regional plans is available from the Department of Planning and Infrastructure, local government authorities in the region and the South West Development Commission.
