215. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Treasurer:
I
have a supplementary question. Getting back to the fairness fighters, can we
expect the next budget, the Treasurer's first budget, to include
similar headline announcements with no action 12 months on?

Honestly, opposition members cannot
comprehend that they have no strategy and no message; they are all over the
place. When the government effectively communicates good policies, members
opposite criticise it. Maybe opposition members should sit down, talk to each
other and have a proper strategy meeting as opposed to this completely chaotic
handling of question time every day. As I have said, we sit here and say, ''What
are they going to ask this week?'' It
is like throwing darts at a dartboard! I think of the things that I would ask
if I were in opposition , but then opposition members ask this! It is
absolutely impossible to prepare for question time because there is no logic to
it. Each week, it is completely about throwing darts at a dartboard; there is
no strategy. We are fighting for Western Australia
whether in relation to transport, education and health funding—the
Premier does so at national cabinet. The Ministers for Disability Services,
Community Services, Environment, Training and Workforce Development—everyone
is fighting for a better deal for WA. We have done that since being elected and
we will continue to do it every day of the week.
