Electricity—Whole-of-system plan
395. Hon Dr Steve Thomas to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation:
My happy Thursday
question without notice for which some notice has been given is to the Leader
of the House representing the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation. He has
probably been looking forward to it.
I refer to the
minister's refusal to provide a transparent answer to either of my questions of
18 June 2025, and specifically the non-answers in relation to my question
without notice 368 on the government's whole-of-system plan.
(1)
Will the whole-of-system plan be delivered by the end of 2025?
(2)
What consultants have been engaged in 2024 and 2025 to deliver the new
whole-of-system plan, and how much has each consultant been paid?
(3)
What is the total budget for consultants working on the plan up to its release?
(4)
Was the answer of "not applicable" to part (4) of question without
notice 368 an indication that the whole-of-system plan had been abandoned or
simply a snub of the Legislative Council processes?
