COCAINE KITS - INVESTIGATION BY CONSUMER PRODUCTS SAFETY COMMITTEE
I refer to the referral by the Commissioner for Fair Trading of cocaine kits to the Consumer Products Safety Committee. (1) Has the committee completed its investigation on whether these kits should be prohibited or allowed only subject to restriction or conditions? (2) If yes, what was the committee’s recommendation to the commissioner and what was the commissioner’s decision? (3) If no to (1), when is the committee expected to complete its investigation?
