(a) The WA Department of Training has conducted two funding rounds since the
First Click
initiative was announced. In both funding rounds only a few applications were received for programs in the North West of the State (ie north of the 26th parallel, including the Kimberley). In 2001/02, total funding of $45,252.00 went to the North West. In 2002/03, $43,019.90 has been allocated to the North West to date.
