As at 17 March 2017, the percentage of women in senior executive service in the Minister’s portfolios of Child Protection and the Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence was 63 per cent. The percentage of women in senior executive service in the then Department of Local Government and Communities was 67 per cent (this figure excludes the Office of Multicultural Interests).

As at 30 October 2017, the percentage of women in senior executive service in the Department of Communities was 31 per cent. This represent the whole of Department of Communities, which covers other Minister’s portfolios, including Disability Services, Volunteering, Seniors and Ageing Housing, Youth and Veterans Issues, as well as my Child Protection, Women’s Interests, Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence and Community Services portfolios.

As at 17 March 2017, the percentage of women in the Minister’s portfolios of Child Protection, Women’s Interests, Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence and Community Services was 82 per cent. The percentage of women in the then Department of Local Government and Communities was 75.1 per cent (this figure excludes the Office of Multicultural Interests).

As at 30 October 2017, the percentage of women in the Department of Communities was 74 per cent. This represent the whole of Department of Communities, which covers other Minister’s portfolios, including Disability Services, Volunteering, Seniors and Ageing Housing, Youth and Veterans Issues, as well as my Child Protection, Women’s Interests, Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence and Community Services portfolios.
