ELECTION COMMITMENTS — PREMIER'S
COMMENTS
296. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the Leader of the
House representing the Premier:
I refer to the Premier's
claim that the government made 52 election promises.
(1) Will the Premier table the list
of 52 commitments that he believes the government made?
(2) For each commitment listed in
(1), was there any time frame included in the commitment?
(3) If yes to (2), will the Premier
table the time frame for each commitment?
(4) What are the criteria for a
commitment to be included on the list in (1)?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question, the answer to which I do not think he is going to
like.
(1)–(4) In
response to a media query, the state government provided a snapshot of some of
the significant election commitments made during the 2013 election campaign by
the Liberal Party. Please refer to the Liberal Party's election policy
documents and media statements for detailed information on each election
commitment.
