The Department of Justice (the Department) advises:
(a) No.
(b) Not Applicable.
(c) The Department is developing the Banksia Hill Detention Centre (Banksia) Model of Care (MOC). The MOC is proposed to be a 3 Tiered, Trauma-Informed and Age and Developmental based care program for young people. The Banksia MOC will establish key performance indicators to enable the annual review to improve the effective delivery of trauma informed care to young people. The Model of Care is not behavioural management based. The Banksia MOC Service Delivery Review Framework will be established in 2018-19. The Department will conduct an implementation review at the completion of the first full year of operation (2019-2020).
