(a) The Department of the Attorney General has concluded a targeted consultation with a range of key stakeholders to identify the main issues of concern with the existing legislation. The feedback obtained from the initial round of consultation is being used to inform a discussion paper, which will be released later this year during the public consultation phase of the review.
(b) Any proposed changes would depend on the findings and recommendations of the review and Government legislative priorities. At this stage, the Government has not determined when it is likely to introduce any proposed changes.
