I refer to
correspondence from the operations manager of the Public Transport Authority to
Woodbury Boston Primary School dated 20 January 2026 regarding a decision to
remove school bus services for students.
(1) How many Western Australian schools
have been impacted by the recent review referenced in the abovementioned
correspondence? Please provide a list of the schools.
(2) What plans are in place to ensure
that impacted students can still attend their schools?

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(2) A review identified that six schools had
been incorrectly treated when determining the nearest appropriate school. To
ensure fairness and consistency, the Public Transport Authority is maintaining
the status of the existing cohort of students until the completion of their
schooling.
