I refer to the signing of the contract by the city of Busselton for the construction of the new terminal at the Busselton Margaret River Airport, and ask: (a) when was the Minister first made aware the City of Busselton signed the contract to commence construction of the new terminal building; (b) when was the South West Development Commission first made aware the City of Busselton signed the contract to commence Construction of the new terminal building; (c) when was the CEO of the South West Development Commission first made aware the City of Busselton signed the contract to commence construction of the new terminal building; (d) when was the Chair of the South West Development Commission first made aware the City of Busselton signed the contract for the construction of the new terminal building; (e) what was the cost to the City of Busselton for cancelling the contract for the construction of the terminal building; (f) did the Minister issue an instruction to cancel the contract for the construction of the terminal building; (g) if yes to (f), when was this instruction issued; (h) did the Minister seek legal advice on cancelling the contract with Government for RADS funds secured to construct the terminal building; (i) is the Minister aware whether the Minister for Transport sought advice the on Government breaching a contractual commitment for RADS funding toward the terminal building; and (j) will the Minister pay the the City of Busselton any funds lost as a result of breaking the signed contract for the construction of the terminal building?
