I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. The detailed planning phase for road projects is typically undertaken when project construction funding is confirmed through the budget process. At this stage the Manning Road on-ramp is unfunded. Plans for the road reservation for the Manning Road on-ramp were gazetted in 1985. However, as the honourable member may be aware, the federal coalition has announced that, if elected to government, it will provide a contribution of $10 million towards this project. I am sure that many members of this house look forward to this commitment being confirmed with the election of the Abbott coalition government in the coming days.
