DERBY HOSPITAL —
ASSAULT
758. Hon RICK MAZZA to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
(1) Can the
minister advise whether a member of the nursing staff at Derby Hospital was
assaulted during the past several months by another person employed or
contracted by the Department of Health and working or volunteering at the same
hospital?
(2) If yes to (1), can the minister
advise —
(a) what action was taken against the
perpetrator; and
(b) whether the incident was reported
to police?
(3) Are
employees, contractors and volunteers required to complete a police clearance
prior to working or volunteering at Derby Hospital?
