(1)-(7) The State Government is aware of Rex’s performance challenges and continues to closely monitor its contractual KPIs.
The Government has shared its dissatisfaction with both Rex and its administrator, EY, in relation to the agreed service standards, noting on some occasions that delays and cancellations are out of its control.
With the administration arrangements lapsing in early December 2025, the Government awaits the imminent outcome of the sale process and expects the new owners to ensure an improved service offering.
