Schools are supplied with electricity from a number of WA electricity retailers. As such, the Minister for Energy does not have access to this information from a supply side perspective.
However, the Minister for Energy understands that most schools engage electricity retailers directly and pay their bills directly as well. All schools are obliged to comply with the Treasurer's Instruction 323 to pay their accounts within 30 days of the receipt of the invoice.
