The Department of Housing advises:
(1)
Funding was previously available under the now discontinued Environmental Health Program. There is currently no allocated funding.
(2)-(3)
All applications are subject to a business case and funding submission.
(4)
The Department has been allocated $1.5 million from the Department of Health to conduct a feasibility study into the Balgo community. Any decision on constructing a pool will be subject to the outcome of this study and appropriate funding arrangements being in place to meet capital and operational costs.
