I will do some research to see —
Ms R. Saffioti :
Why not?
Mr D.T. REDMAN : I
am happy to do what I can to support that position; I am not sure I can find
out what my predecessor has done —
Ms R. Saffioti :
Yes, you can; you can ask him!
The
SPEAKER : Member for West Swan!
Mr
D.T. REDMAN : You can ask him as well!
I will make every endeavour to try to provide whatever
information I can in respect of the question, but I make the point that I
regularly have discussions on the investment interests of potential investors
in regional Western Australia and what they see as barriers to their
investment, because it is really important —

The
SPEAKER : Member for Armadale, I call you for the third time. Minister, can you
just wind this up, please.
Mr D.T. REDMAN : It
is really important to understand where the private sector sits in respect of
investment, because it is the private sector that will grow and build regional
Western Australia. This government is in a solid position to try to facilitate
those outcomes, so, yes, I am in discussions with people who want to invest in
regional Western Australia.
