At the recent annual state conference of the Western Australian branch of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association of Australia, a motion was carried with regard to seeking financial assistance for those children identified as not being in a school appropriate to their ability and aspirations. (1) Can the minister give the undertaking that he will give this matter some urgent priority by making a submission to the federal Minister for Education, Science and Training seeking approval for this request?
