2) Main Roads intends to continue planning and design for the upgrade of this intersection as part of the upgrade of South Western Highway between Waroona and Harvey. No construction funding has been allocated in the 2003/04 Budget process. However, this work will be considered as part of the preparation of the next State Budget. Main Roads will consider this intersection for an application to the Federal Blackspot Funding for the 2004/05 program. However, due to the low number of accidents recorded at this intersection the likelihood of its inclusion in the Federal Blackspot program is considered low.
