WA COUNTRY HEALTH
SERVICE — COUNTRY FAMILIES @ NGALA
1276. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the answer provided to
question without notice 1244, asked yesterday, regarding the WA Country Health Service's partnership with Ngala for the
Country Families @ Ngala virtual service, which provides free child health parenting information and support to families living in rural and remote WA.
(1) Is it
intended that Ngala will continue to operate this service from 1 January 2024;
and, if not, why not?
(2) If yes, when is the new grant
funding agreement due to expire?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) No. The WA
Country Health Service has now established its own virtual child health
service, which uses technology-based
strategies to deliver child health services that are seamless, integrated and
cost-effective.
(2) Not applicable.
