(1) I refer to adult prisoner statistics for each of the financial year 2023-2024, and I ask: (a) how many prisoner receptions in total, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality; (b) how many of those were in prison for the first time in total, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality; (c) how many receptions were in each Australian and New Zealand Standard Offence Classification (ANZSOC) Division category as per the quarterly custodial reports in total, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality; (d) how many prisoners were released each year in total, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality; (e) how many prisoner releases were in each ANZSOC Division category as per the quarterly custodial reports in total, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality; and (f) how many prisoners were in custody as at 30 June 2024, and by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality? (2) Of the prisoners released during 2023–24, and showing data by gender, gender at birth and Aboriginality, how many were in prison for: (a) less than one year; (b) one to two years; (c) two to three years; (d) three to five years; (e) five to ten years; and (f) more than ten years?
