1071. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the minister representing the
Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade:
I refer to the current receiver
managers and liquidators of the insolvent Griffin Coal.
(1) Since the appointment of receivers, administrators
and management to the insolvent Griffin Coal, has the state government
had any form of communication with the Australian Securities and Investments
Commission on the potential scenario that Griffin Coal continued to trade
whilst technically insolvent?
(2) If yes to (1), on what dates
and in what form did those communications occur?
