ROSSMOYNE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL — PRAYER ROOM
455. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Education:
I refer to the operation of the
prayer room at Rossmoyne Senior High School.
(1) When was the
prayer room introduced at the school, at whose request was it made available
and what was the approval process?
(2) Is the prayer room currently
accessible to students?
(3) At what times
during the school day is the prayer room accessible or has the prayer room been
accessible to students; for example, are students able to miss regular class
time to attend?
(4) What has been
or is the sign-in and sign-out process for students, and if there has been a change
to this procedure, please advise?
(5) Have teachers
or school administrators ever attended the prayer room while it was being used
by students?
(6) What adult supervision is being
provided now?
