I refer to the announcement dated 17th of October 2025, 'Grants to spur jobs and economic development in regional WA’, and ask: (a) As of the current date, outline the number of applicants for Round 8 of the funding, disaggregated by type of applicant and location; (b) Outline the process by which applications are chosen for funding; and (c) Outline the number of projects supported by the RED Grant funding since 2018, specified by location, name of the project, and amount of funding allocated?

(a) As of the date of asking, Round 8 is open for applications, closing 9 January 2026. Applications are submitted electronically and are not reviewed or assessed until the round closes.
(b) Applications are assessed by the relevant Regional Development Commission against the criteria outlined in the grant guidelines. Recommendations are submitted to the Minister for Regional Development for final approval.
(c) The successful grant recipients are all publicly available.
