I refer to the Regional Tourism Review Final Report, dated 1 July 2009, and ask -
(1) Has the Minister received any complaints from the Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) about the Marketing and Service Agreements?
(2) Is the Minister aware that the RTOs ability to plan and market their region in a timely way is limited due to the lack of certainty in funding?

(1) No.
(2) The Regional Tourism Organisations have been advised that they will receive the same amount of funding for 2010/2011 as they received in 2009/2010. It is anticipated that before the new five year Marketing and Service Agreements are finalised in June, Tourism Western Australia will advise each Regional Tourism Organisation of the funding they will receive from 2011/2012 to 2014/2015.
