TOURISM WA — STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
I refer to the Premier’s letter to me of 22 April 2010 concerning the strategic analysis undertaken by the Tourism WA board and his undertaking in that letter to release the strategic analysis once full consideration had been given to the recommendations. (1) As this matter is now being considered by cabinet, the state budget details have been released and Tourism WA staff have been informed of the restructure, will the Premier table the strategic analysis; a list of all individuals and organisations invited to comment on the restructure of Tourism WA; a copy of the Tourism WA board’s letter inviting comment; and all submissions received by Tourism WA? (2) If no to (1), why not? (3) Were individuals and organisations invited to specifically comment on the closure of regional Tourism WA offices; and the significant downscaling of the planning, development and investment functions of Tourism WA? Hon NORMAN MOORE
