I refer to correspondence from the
Department of Education to state school leadership.
(1) Is the minister aware that an explicit instruction
has been issued to state schools that only department-approved contacts
are permitted to correspond with the minister's office?
(2) Is the
minister concerned that this instruction implies a command-and-control culture
in his department?
