I refer the minister to his answer to question without notice 1479 of 13 November 2003, and his response that normal industrial dispute settling processes are being pursued by the various parties. (1) Is the minister aware that the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union contractors at Western Power at Kwinana were ordered back to work by the Industrial Relations Commission on 2 November 2003, and that they are defying this order by their continuing actions? (2) Will the minister explain what, if any, negotiations are taking place between Western Power and Skilled Engineering to resolve this dispute? (3) Has the minister or any of his Labor parliamentary colleagues attempted to negotiate with the AMWU directly to ensure that blackouts do not occur as a result of delays in maintenance work? Hon KIM CHANCE
