(a) The draft Coastal Zone Management Policy for Western Australia was originally released for a public submission period closing Wednesday, 11 April 2001. Soon after the document's launch, the closing date was extended to Friday, 4 May 2001, the date given in the final printed document. In a number of cases, a further extension of between 5 and 10 days was granted on the condition that an intention to submit, including a brief summary of points, was provided by the published closing date.
