I refer to serial criminal Jason Wimbridge. At any point after Wimbridge held up the Bendigo Bank branch on 2 July while on parole for other armed robbery charges, did the Department of Justice apply to have his parole cancelled? Mr J.B. D’ORAZIO

I am advised that the department recommended to the Parole Board that Wimbridge’s parole be cancelled. Mr R.F. Johnson : At what time did this happen? Mr J.B. D’ORAZIO : If the member provides me with some notice, I will give him the exact dates. It was after he was arrested for that robbery.
