(a) – (b) In order to avoid future erosion damage to Narrow Neck it has been decided to rebuild the road on a new alignment. This is a major construction project and has therefore been scheduled for the off-season to minimise the impact on visitors to the Island. Currently, there is one lance available along Narrow Neck.
(c) It is planned that reconstruction of the road will take place in August 2004. The cost is estimated to be $400,000.
