representing the Minister for Health:
(1) Will the
minister immediately seek to vary the current contract with St John Ambulance
to incorporate agreed performance indicators relating to psychological risk and
care of the workforce as recommended by the Independent Oversight Panel review
of St John Ambulance?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1)–(2) The
recommendations will be considered and the Department of Health will work with
St John Ambulance in relation to any possible impacts on the current contract.
However, St John Ambulance, as a non-government provider, must continue to hold
responsibility for matters relating to its workforce.
