On 31 January 2022, the minister
announced the Shepherd review into the appalling power outages that occurred
across the south west interconnected system over the Christmas–New Year
period, ruining celebrations for over 34 000 Western Australians.
(1) Has the
minister received the report and its findings and recommendations, since he
promised it would be delivered by Monday, 14 March 2022?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If the
minister has received the report, why has he not released it to the public, and
when will the minister act on its recommendations?

met by Zoom with Michelle Shepherd on Monday, and she informed me that the
report needed a small amount of additional
work and that she expects to give it to me sometime this week. I have not yet
received it. As I indicated when I made my statement to Parliament in February,
once the report is with me, I will table it in the Parliament.
