I refer to the ‘Report on Parliamentary Visit to the United States of America’ tabled in Parliament by Mark McGowan MLA. The report indicates that the presence of Perth International Airport and RAAF Base Pearce are considered advantages for Western Australia -
(1) Can the Premier provide statistics for the amount of military flights into and out of Perth International Airport in a given year?
(2) What is the nature of these flights?
(3) Has any risk assessment been undertaken as to the wisdom of allowing such flights over the metropolitan area, and if so, will the Premier table such assessments?
