DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING - COMPLAINTS MANAGEMENT UNIT
How many staff are currently working in the Department of Education and Training complaints management unit? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH

I thank the member for some notice of this question. As the member would be aware, one of the recommendations of the Corruption and Crime Commission inquiry into sexual misconduct by staff with children was that there be an overhaul of the complaints management unit. One of the initiatives that we put forward was that the staffing for that unit would be increased from seven to 15. That is exactly where we are going. However, the official answer I have here today is seven.
