BUNBURY OUTER RING ROAD
ROUTE
1174. Hon COLIN HOLT to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
As reported in the Bunbury Herald this week, recent presentations from Main Roads Western Australia in various
forums on the Bunbury Outer Ring Road ''raised more questions than
answers''.
(1) Will the
minister now come to the south west to meet concerned groups to hear their
views firsthand?
(2) If so, when will the minister visit, and which
groups, organisations and individuals will she be meeting with?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) Main
Roads WA is undertaking an extensive program of community and stakeholder
engagement in relation to the project, and work continues to identify the most
appropriate route. Local members of state Parliament are also providing
feedback on the range of community views and appropriate meetings will be
arranged when the minister next visits Bunbury.
