VIOLENT SEX OFFENDERS — PAROLE
814. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to responses provided to my
questions in May and June regarding outstanding return to prison warrants that
revealed neither the Department of Justice nor the Prisoners Review Board were
aware how many prison fugitives remain on the run on any given day.
(1) How many return to prison
warrants are currently outstanding with the rapid apprehension squad?
(2) What is the age of the three
warrants that are the oldest that remain outstanding?
(3) Further to
(2), who are these three offenders and should the community be on the lookout
for these most wanted fugitives?
