Fund and ask: (a) Who is on the panel considering the grant applications and how were they appointed; (b) When
were the individuals appointed to the panel to determine
the grant applications; (c) Is
the Minister on the grants panel; (d) Does the Minister have to sign off on
the grants panel determinations; and (e) Will
all of the $500,000 allocated for the Contemporary Music Fund in the 2018-19 State Budget be distributed by 30 June 2019: (i) What

(a) The Contemporary Music Fund grant program offers grants in two categories: U15k, and; 15k-plus. The U15k is assessed internally by Departmental staff, through the process introduced under the previous Government for small scale grants. The 15k-plus will be assessed by a panel of peer assessors.
(b) Panel members have not yet been appointed
(c) No
(d) The Minister or his delegate will approve the grant panel determinations.
(e) The Department expects that the $500,000 allocated for 2018-19 will be spent in 2018-19.
(i) The Department would request the funds be carried forward.
