I refer the Minister to the Perth Mint’s GoldPass app which is now being shut down and ask: (a) Did the Mint obtain legal advice regarding its lawful obligations to adhere to Austrac’s regulatory requirements and, if so, who provided the advice; (b) If such advice was obtained, did Mint management act in accordance with that advice; and (c) If such advice was obtained, was that advice known to any of the then CEO, the Board and the Minister?
