1085. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to proposed bus stop
relocation works being conducted on Illawarra Crescent, Ballajura.
(1) Which bus
stops on Illawarra Crescent will be relocated?
(2) Will bus
stops be relocated opposite to existing bus stops on the alternate side of
Illawarra Crescent?
(3) If yes to
(2), has consideration been given to traffic flow and road safety if buses are
stopped simultaneously at stops immediately opposite one another?

(1) No bus stops are being relocated. Two bus stops are
being upgraded to meet Disability Discrimination Act standards and will
incorporate new passenger shelters. Temporary bus stops have been installed
while this work is being done.
